A gathering of black walnut dyed merino ready to become the next warp on my little(er) loom.
You can find a few of my older works for sale here in the shop of a fellow fiber-lover and earth-momma. Please do check them out! https://www.etsy.com/listing/656146965/handwoven-alpaca-and-merino-earth?ref=shop_home_active_42
Some nighttime stitching on a second cloak. 💜
My giant friends and I on a sleepy, magical, dewy morning walk. I am almost finished with this cloak and just had to try it out.
Laying out the pieces for a cloak. Rainbows. Moons. Protection.
Oh how good it feels getting my hands back on wool. This is some #handspun #handwoven fabric that I brought home from #kinnaur valley in the #Himalayas of #india ⛰ I’ve been stashing it away, waiting for the perfect project. (which doesn’t exist) So the next best thing to perfect is a cloak combining this amazing fabric with some of my handwoven #merino panels. Here I am deconstructing one end slightly so that I’ll have felted #fringe on both ends.
This #cochineal dyed #merino scarf was in my shop for more than a year…so I’m keeping it. 💗
Braided ropes & felted fringe. These new pieces are getting me very inspired to create more sculptural wearables.
Ice queen sculptural felted winter warmth. ❄️
Soft & spikey.
