This piece is based around a little heart Goddess with a ruby bellybutton. She was carved, by a modern artist, from an ancient walrus tusk that was washed up onto the shores of Alaska. She is warm and soft against your skin. (I put the necklace on and forgot I was wearing it until I went to bed it feels so good)
The beads holding her are green rutilated quartz, handmade Chrysocolla beads from Peru, and golden rutilated quartz. The Chrysocolla beads I aquired this year at the Tucson gem & mineral show from a very sweet family who mines it and makes the beads in Peru. At the back of the necklace is a sturdy sterling silver clasp, and joining the previously mentions beads, a bead of fossilized mammoth tusk.
