A modern-ancient relic
This piece was constructed around my love of fibers and stones. A free form knotwork tube encases Laguna Lace Agate beads and a gorgeous piece of river-tumbled petrified wood. I found this piece in the freezing waters of a River in Montana, and drilled the stone in my home-studio in New Mexico.
The knotwork construction floats freely around a hand-felted and hand-dyed merino cord.
The necklace measures 31 1/4 inches around.
