Here we have four summer moons. Four Luna necklaces that came to life in the last few weeks. The solid silver moons are made as a collaboration with myself and my partner Kyle Parker Cunningham. I cut out the metal stamped it and prepped it, he hammer -formed them into the anticlastic moons.
At the center of this slightly larger Luna is a piece of Tibetan quartz with two pieces of tourmaline. Moving above the moon is Botswana lace agate, another bead of tourmaline, Rhodochrosite and a sterling silver clasp.
This moon has at its center a piece of black tourmaline. The beads running up its thread are black tourmaline, black cat’s eye, charoite, and rutilated quartz.
Afghan lápiz, tourmaline & grey-blue agate are the stones that join this moon.
This piece is a custom Luna necklace. At its center is Tibetan quartz and tourmaline. Moving above the moon, are stones of black cats eye, more tourmaline, gray & pink cat eye, iron– red rutilated quartz, strawberry quartz, moonstone, and rose quartz.
