This is a dress Ive been dreaming up for years, and never got around to finishing until now. The foundation of this simple sculptural dress is a felted web of ultra-soft merino. From the merino cord drapes hand dyed raw silk that shifts and fades in shades of grey-blue to deep inky-indigo. The fabric is cut on the bias, so it has a lovely drape and movement.
Laying flat this piece measures 14-18.5 in. across the chest, under the armpits, from shoulder to the bottom hemline measures 55-58 in. long. The hips measurement is free.
