One of a kind handmade clothing.

Due to the current world situation, Desert Archaic Gallery in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico is closed and all creations are migrating online for the whole world to enjoy.

Ive always enjoyed sewing one of a kind clothing.  In my years before weaving I would collect beautiful old textiles and transform them into new clothing.  This piece was sewn using up-cycled raw silk fabric that I dyed with local black walnuts.  It embraces the raw edge details on the shoulder and pocket seams.

This piece will fit many bodies.  Laying flat from cuff to cuff across the shoulders it measures 53 in. (135cm),  from shoulder to the bottom hemline measures 24.5 in (62 cm),  across the chest under the armpits it measures 26 in. (66 cm).
