Rainbow Pieces Blanket.
A collection of love.
Handwoven by me in my New Mexico home-studio, this blanket - shawl was woven on a warp of organic cotton-linen with a weft of bits of pieces from years of collecting and working with fiber. The weft fibers include hand-spun wool, wools from all over the world, along with hand dyed mohair and merino.
It is a celebration of process and transformation. With each end there is a new beginning.
It is extra long 31 x 114 inches (2.9 m.) + approx. 5 inches of hand twined fringe on each end.
