The colors of the desert
Woven in the winds of spring
Warm days, cool nights, dry earth
Walking on the bones of this land
The bones of ancient life
Gently caresses my mind
With the span of time
And I smile into the rising Sun

A random draw for a chance to purchase Paloma Handwoven Art Yardage is now under way and will close on Sunday April 27th. You can see and the info and enter the draw HERE.

This piece was woven with a warp of organic cotton-linen and a weft of naturally dyed raw silk, it measures 2.8 meters in length with long hand-twined fringe on each end.

In the photos below you will see photos from Mud Mountain, a small range of mountains just outside of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. It is a place I go often to walk, bike, climb and explore. At the moment those undulating hills of stone and sand are my muse. Millions of years of history are laid bare before me, exposed and illuminated.
