This sculptural piece was sewn from fabric that was handwoven by me with a warp of organic cotton-linen and a weft of two colors of hand-spun color-grown cotton. The neckline is edged in raw silk that was dyed with black walnuts.
It is free size, and will fit many bodies. From arm-hole to arm-hole across the shoulders it measures 31 in. (79cm). From shoulder to the bottom hemline measures 18 in (46 cm) with approximately 2 inches of fringe at the bottom.
To care for this piece, hand wash in cool water and hang to dry, it will get softer and more supple with each washing. The color grown cotton will get darker and richer in color with each washing as well.
