Woven on a warp of Black Walnut dyed organic merino wool with a weft of cashmere. The cashmere was raised, processed and hand spun by a woman’s cooperative in Afghanistan. Into the weft were woven sumptuous rows of silk/merino/seacell fringe that were dyed with cochineal, sandalwood, black walnut and marigolds. Technicalities – It is 9 inches wide & 63.5 inches around.
