Lustrous shades of silk Sumptuous texture Soft as clouds
The bomber scarf - a little bit shorter so you don't get the tails caught in your propeller! Succulent silky fibers with an air of luxury formerly reserved for queens, with the durability of trans Pangean adventure.
Handwoven in my home/studio in the Land of Enchantment, NM. These pieces were all woven with a rainbow warp of naturally dyed Swiss silk/merino/seacell. The dyes used to create the colors were black walnut leaves and nuts, sandalwood, marigolds, sumac berries, buckthorn, rabbit brush, cochineal and osage orange. The weft used are Tussah, silk sea-cell/merino/silk fringe, and cashmere/silk all of which are either their natural lusrous color or naturally dyed.
