Fall harvest, and a little tree climbing, just in time before the leaves fly! Icy winter winds were blowing down from the peaks today as we scooted up the mountain to harvest black walnut leaves for natural dyeing. I also found a gorgeous pecan tree and harvested a handful of leaves to try dyeing with. ….ill be back for the pecans once they are ready.
