Handspun Colorgrown Cotton Top

Due to the current world situation, Desert Archaic Gallery in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico is closed and all creations are migrating online for the whole world to enjoy.

This sculptural piece was sewn from fabric that was handwoven by me with a warp of organic cotton-linen and a weft of hand-spun color-grown cotton and Italian cotton-linen. The neckline is edged in raw silk.

It is free size, and will fit many bodies.  From arm-hole to arm-hole across the shoulders it measures 32 in. (81cm).  From shoulder to the bottom hemline measures 17.5 in (45 cm) with approximately 7-8 inches of fringe at the bottom.
