This piece is extra long and was woven on a warp of black walnut dyed merino with a weft of naturally dyed merino-silk-seacell. The dyes used for the weft fibers were marigold, buckthorn, black walnut, cochineal and sandalwood. Into the weft were woven hand twined cords of sandalwood and black walnut dyed merino and fringe, that was then lightly felted.
This piece is 101 inches around and 4.5 inches wide.
