Desert Soul Art Yardage

“Wilderness. The word itself is music.”
― Edward Abbey, Desert Solitaire

This piece was woven by me, here at my home-studio in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico on a warp of organic cotton-linen and a weft of naturally dyed raw silk.  The dyes used were sandalwood and black walnut leaves and fruits.

Technicalities - It is 2.3m in length with hand twined fringe on each end.
