Cochineal Sunburst Sculptural Cowl

Woven on a warp of Black Walnut dyed organic merino wool with a weft of naturally dyed merino. The dyes used were cochineal (red) and marigolds (yellow). The orange was made with cochineal dyed over marigolds. The luscious gathering of felted fringe is also cochineal dyed merino. Technicalities – It is 9 inches wide & 66 inches around.
