Berries with Cashmere Cream Cowl

Handwoven by me in my home/studio in the land of enchantment, NM with a warp of 100% ultra fine organic merino wool, and weft of naturally dyed chunky Merino, hand-spun Afghan Cashmere and Merino/Silk/Cashmere, with a trail of merino felted fringe details. The chunky Merino browns and were dyed with Black Walnuts. The Cashmere was raised and spun by a women's cooperative in Afghanistan, the salmon tones being dyed naturally with Sandalwood, the yellow from Marigolds.  The weft was woven with a waving and psychedelic version of twill pattern.

It is 8.5 inches wide and 77 inches in circumference.   This piece can be wrapped 2 or 3 times around.
