Cristeline structures coming together

I’ve been keeping my hands busy with beads and hand drilled stones, making a small collection of these multi-strand pieces that will be available in a few weeks. 🤍🖤🤍 Also, while visiting family I seem to have created a small grey kitty-monster named Rufio who is obsessed with string. He sits for hours and stares at me while I work in hopes that I’ll leave the string unattended. (I only made that mistake once)

The forever project.

This is one of those projects that has gone on for far too long. I keep picking it up, then putting it away, and this time I won’t stop until the sweater it complete!!! It’ll be my first (and probably only) hand knit sweater. The torso is covered with free form cable knitting, the yarn is bulky black walnut dyed merino 🤎

New year, new pile of fiber.

Along with my usual raw silk, cashmere/silk and fingering weight merino I ordered some delicious organic chunky weight merino that will become delicious new creations. Now I’ve just got loads of dyeing to do. 🌈🤍

Wool Blanket in Blues

I long to explore every inch of this place; every canyon, cliff, spring and meadow. I am truly overwhelmed with love for this place.

This piece has already sold. It was woven on a warp of organic cotton-linen with a weft of many different wool bits that I’ve collected over the years. I am hoping to create one more wooly blanket once I re-warp my loom.
