Photographing my newest customs in my tiny studio.

Photographing my newest customs in my tiny studio.
The colors of petrified wood and the desert in which it it resides, woven into raw silk.
Motions of daily life are much the same. Working in the studio, weaving, making masks, cooking food, digging in the garden and desert explorations with my partner and brother 🌞
The top I’m wearing here is one of my newest printed designs. It has tessellated photographs of wildflowers and plants that I took last summer, from one of my favorite places on earth. It’s a little piece of Wyoming that I can carry with me. https://desertarchaic.com/shop/
I’m happy to be weaving and surrounded by my garden, but part of my brain is still in the mountains. (As always)
A name has been drawn, and lovely human emailed for a custom spot. Also I’m quite happy with this custom appearing in the world. Thank you all. 🧡
Hi everyone,
As I finish up weaving this custom, I am getting ready to take on another. I will draw a name this evening from the new customs list that I began in March. If you haven’t entered, please feel free to do so here – https://forms.gle/oytjus5AZ5Wyeb4h9
Thank you all for your support of my work, especially during this crazy time.
