Just got three #silver pieces up in my Etsy shop, and I’m really excited about the new little tags I stamped out. 🌞 this piece includes three #antiqueafricanbeads made of #glass one of which is #opelite
Oh how good it feels getting my hands back on wool. This is some #handspun #handwoven fabric that I brought home from #kinnaur valley in the #Himalayas of #india ⛰ I’ve been stashing it away, waiting for the perfect project. (which doesn’t exist) So the next best thing to perfect is a cloak combining this amazing fabric with some of my handwoven #merino panels. Here I am deconstructing one end slightly so that I’ll have felted #fringe on both ends.
Please check out the etsy shop of this beautiful earth momma and fiber-lover. She has a few of my older creations in her shop including this bolero and two vests – https://www.etsy.com/listing/657402047/handwoven-and-hand-dyed-raw-silk-shrug?ref=shop_home_active_47
Moonstone and string. A hand knotted basket holding #moonstone and #dreams
This #cochineal dyed #merino scarf was in my shop for more than a year…so I’m keeping it. 💗
A handful of liquid chain pieces will be arriving in my shop in about a week. I’ve been playing around with new designs, this one incorporates a hand-formed copper ring.
Blood moon. Carnelian. Silver. Despite a hazy sky last night, the moon glowed red.
I try not to go into yarn shops…because i usually can’t help myself 😆 But, I just had to raid the clearance bin of all the #cashmere #yak #chunkymerino and #linen at a store I happened upon yesterday.
I’ve been working through some ideas playing with sterling silver chain and beautiful beads. …a different sort of fiber work. ❄️
This is what happens when you knit a sweater with no pattern and the sleeves turn out all wrong. 😖 I guess it’ll just be a vest and I’ll use the leftover chunky #blackwalnut dyed #merino to knit some hats or cowls.
