Now is a time of tremendous change and many things are hanging in tenuous balance.   On so many fronts our Mother Earth is threatened and there is one place in particular I hope WE can make a change.   Not only is the Earth being threatened by the Dakota access pipeline, but Native People are again having to fight the government/private business for the right to protect their own lands.

Once it is finished I will be putting this piece up for auction and half of the proceeds will go to the NO DAPL effort.  For more information on the anti-pipeline effort check out this website –   http://sacredstonecamp.org

The fringe has been twined and the edges hemmed, but there is still more work to be done on this piece.   The ends were woven with natural white raw silk and I will be shibori dyeing five circles on each end, dip-dyed with black walnuts.
