Some early morning weaving, birds singing, flowers blooming 🙂
After 10 days of dawn-till-dark work, finally, a working studio. I am so happy to be back at the loom!!!!
Well, I am sure that some of you have been wondering…where have all the fiber photos been for the past few days…? I have been doing construction on my studio. What I have been calling my studio was really just a three sided structure with plastic walls and no doors. It is spring here in NM, and the birds were starting to move in to the rafters…causing obvious problems…and the dust from the spring winds which are coming soon…you get the idea. So, it was time to patch it up, using many salvaged materials, scraps and interesting bits it is all coming together and I hope to be back at the loom and sewing machine in the next few days. I can hardly wait!!!! This is what I call insulation Tetris, a fun game of thrifty construction!
