The tapestry woven details…an aspen grove in October.
Black walnut dyed Merino wool, raw silk, cotton and two shirts.
Add wet yarn to the dye bath, bring to a boil and leave overnight for darkest shades.
After boiling the black walnuts and letting them sit over night drain through a cloth. (the flakes and chunks are REALLY hard to wash out of yarn if it isn’t filtered out)
Finishing up more skirts….ooh the sun!
